Built on discipline. Rooted in community.
Riverside Square Academy was founded to prove that rigorous early learning and a warm, small-school culture are not a trade-off — they reinforce one another, across both of our campuses.
From one day care to two dedicated campuses
Riverside Square Academy began as a single day care initiative and has grown into two dedicated campuses: Riverside Square Academy 1, our Day Care Campus, and Riverside Square Academy 2, our Grade RR – Grade 7 Campus — without ever losing the founding conviction that every child deserves to be known by name, not by number.
Riverside Square Academy 2 is registered with the Department of Basic Education under EMIS No. 700401370, and both campuses continue to be shaped by the same community they were built to serve.
Nurturing care, personally delivered
To equip every learner — from our Day Care Campus through to Grade 7 — with the discipline, curiosity, and character to thrive, through small groups, close mentorship, and care that never settles for "good enough."
A community-anchored academy of choice
To be recognised as the academy families choose from their child's first day of care right through to Grade 7, because results and relationships are never treated as competing priorities.
Four commitments that shape every decision
-
01
Integrity
We say what we mean to learners, staff, and parents alike.
-
02
Rigour
High expectations, matched with the support to meet them.
-
03
Belonging
No learner moves through the Academy unseen.
-
04
Stewardship
Careful, transparent management of every resource entrusted to us.
Led with purpose, campus by campus
Each campus has its own on-site leadership, with a shared governing body drawn from staff, parents, and the broader community overseeing both.
Day Care Campus Leadership
Oversees daily care routines, staff-to-child ratios, and the early learning programme at Riverside Square Academy 1.
Grade RR–7 Campus Leadership
Sets academic direction and oversees staff development at Riverside Square Academy 2 (EMIS No. 700401370), and is the first point of contact for school policy matters.
